Tennsco Grant for Public Library Advancement For TLA Annual Conference

There's still time to apply for the Tennsco Grant for Public Library Advancement For TLA Annual Conference. This year's conference will take place in Memphis. Applications must be submitted by Saturday, November 27th, and the winner will be announced in January 2018.

This is a $750 award that covers all costs for conference attendance. The number of applications has traditionally been low, so now is your chance to grab it! You do have to be a member of TLA and a first-time attendee. The application is attached for review and here are the requirements for eligibility:

    ·         Public Library Director or Branch Manager

    ·         Never attended TLA Conference

    ·         Does not already have conference attendance budgeted

    ·         Persons with a record of attendance at local Regional Library level workshops and other continuing education efforts will be viewed favorably
