2016 PLLA Alumni
The Tennessee Academy for Library Leadership (TALL) is a three-day event that consists of two half-days and one full day. Previously titled the Public Library Leadership Academy (PLLA), this event is open to Assistant Directors or second-tier administrative staff that have responsibility for the library if the director is not available.
Our next academy will meet September 16-18, 2019. Please see the FAQ document for additional information.
Please Note: If your library is less than 50 miles from our meeting site in Mount Juliet, TN you will be required to commute to the event.
NOTE: The application deadline has been extended. Applications must be submitted by close of business on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
Topics for 2019 will include: self-leadership, communications, moving from peer to supervisor, situational awareness, and library law.
