Public Library Management Institute - State of Tennessee: PLMI


The Tennessee Public Library Management Institute is sponsored by Tennessee State Library and Archives. The Institute is a comprehensive training program designed to qualify graduates as Certified Public Library Managers (CPLM).  The main component is a three-year Public Management Institute (PLMI) for the directors of small and medium-sized public libraries or library branch managers who do not have MLS degrees. The Institute focuses on leadership, management, and community partnerships.
